M'fucking OW

It is day 2 (technically 3) of my invisalign treatment...I want to rip them out and fling them into the street. It's not that it really hurts, it just feels SO FUCKING BOTHERSOME. My teeth actually feel claustrophobic from being encased in these trays. Plus there's this never ending soreness. I understand that my teeth are moving, but GODDAMN. FIVE MONTHS of this madness??!! I feel sooo bad for people who have to wear them for a year or more.

In other news...I booked a print job for Wendys. Too bad it's during a schoolday at 5:45 in the MORNING.

Oh cry. No matter what I do to distract myself I can't forget my teeth. The crazy thing is they haven't really bothered me today. Why now?!@

Must take advil before I go insane.

You got my word on it

I filmed my Speedway commercial today, and dear god, it took forever. I had to wake up at 7:00 to get to Cincinnati by 10:00 and was there until 7:30. It paid well, but I felt pretty dorky in my little smock. I'm still glad I got it though, another notch on my resume and experience is always good.

It's back to school next week! My LAST and FINAL quarter FOREVER in college, I almost can't grasp the concept. The wisp of summer I've had hasn't been all laziness, I brushed back up on my piano and am learning to play "Hungarian Dance," it's one of those giddy ditties on Tetris.

I feel so content being done with filming and being in my own bed. I just ate carryout from Applebees (steak and shrimp skewers with smashed potatoes) it was damn glorious. Now I'm lazing and watching TV and I get to sleep in tomorry. I'm happy.

GLEE

I am so happy. I just got back from the ortho and he told me that invisalign has determined my teeth are pretty much straight, it's just a few rogue teeth that fuck it up. SOOO, I will only have to undergo treatment for 5 months!!! I start my first trays in a couple of weeks, and if all goes well I'll be done in February!

Tonight is the final shoot for the industrial, I actually had a lot of fun filming last night. I seriously just get a natural high when cameras are rolling, it went really well. They also said I could bring Becca to be an extra tonight and they'll pay her, so she's excited too.

At any rate, there's TWO days left in the apartment before the big move and I still feel like there's so much that still needs to be done. Moving sucks.

I live in a warehouse

The state of this apartment is driving me nuts, everything is all disorganized, boxes are stacked left and right, the cat thinks the boxes are meant for her, I'm going insane.

The only thing going right is that we found out we can move into our new apartment much sooner and that my "summer" is in full force. I'm nice and lazy and that's just the ways I likes it. I'm getting nervous because I get my invisalign braces soon. I feel like I should be taking advantage of my unconstrained teeth while I can.

I also feel that I should have some summer projects while I have the free time. I'm going to focus on being artsier. I want to get back into drawing and painting more often. And when we get settled in P-town I'm going to take drumming lessons. I was listening to Reptilia last night and decided I love the drumwork in it. I'm taking a refresher piano class this fall, so expanding myself musically is something I'd really like to do.

Another goal is to stay in shape, 10 weeks of solid tennis and yoga has done wonders for me, so I've decided to take advantage of the free gym membership we have from the new apartment. Aw, I'm getting a little sad about moving. As bothersome as campus has gotten, I'm definitely going to miss living here.

Wow, I've lolled around doing nothing for hours...I think I'm going to go and be productive.

Yawns.

It is so gorgeous out, but I guess that's been the theme of the past few days. It's so nice that I actually managed to get my ass out of bed this morning to go to biology, go me. I feel so ridiculously lazy now though, I had a glorious weekend so that could be why. It consisted of nothing but laying by the pool. Yesterday I had the winning combination of the pool/cookout and that rocked my socks. On Saturday I went on a picnic at the park of roses and that was a grand time had by all.

I have an hour and half before I have to force myself to get to work, bah on that, I just want to sit here. But I shouldn't fret, this is the last week of spring quarter...I'm so glad. I'm going to be attending summer quarter as well but that should kind of be fun since I'm taking tennis and yoga...not exactly brain surgery and it'll force me to exercise.

I'm excited for tomorrow because I have my interview at the talent agency and once I'm signed (overconfident much?) I'll be able to get some local work.....hopefully. Once I get paid this week I plan on signing up for Richard's acting class (8 week scene study) that would start on June 10. I kind of missed scene study plus it'll be interesting to be under the instruction of a different teacher to see his style and all that.

Busy, busy is what I'll be, but I think that's how I likes it.

What's all this then?

I'm only at work for two hours and there is a nice stream of sunshine coming in through my office window so I'm feeling unusually pleasant. I was pissed off not too long ago today because my article had the shit edited out of it. I wasn't shown the end result and it ran anyway, so blah on them. It just makes me mad because my original version was SOO much better...I hear a phone ringing and I'm super confused because I'm the only one in this office...and now it's stopped, ooookay.

I'm so not used to my schedule, getting up early is for tools...so you can call me a screwdriver. Oh. my. I think I'm slowly losing my sanity from the lack of sleep. Forgive me. I ordered a digital camera and I want it already, where is my camera?!?! The answer better be in my mailbox.

Squee! Tomorrow The Office returns with an all new episode, let us take a moment to rejoice. *rejoices*
